OneDose Now Integrates With Sansio HealthEMS

The problem: two systems, one call, double the charting

OneDose was built to support decisions in the field: protocol guidance, weight-based dosing, and real-time documentation as care happens. Sansio HealthEMS was built to be the system of record — the ePCR your agency reports, bills, and runs QA/QI from. Historically, those two jobs meant two separate entries: one live, one reconstructed from memory or a scratch note later. Reconstructed charting is where errors creep in, and it’s time crews would rather spend on the next call, a debrief, or just going home on time.

How it works

Once your agency has both platforms connected, OneDose sends what you document at the point of care straight into Sansio’s MobileTouch EMS platform as structured, NEMSIS-formatted data. Nothing changes about how you use OneDose — you’re still following protocol and confirming doses the same way you always have. The difference is what happens after: instead of that information staying in OneDose alone, it lands in the patient care report automatically.

That includes:

• Patient weight and weight-based dosing calculations
• Medications administered and dosing details
• Treatment interventions performed
• Timestamps for key events during the call

It shows up in MobileTouch EMS as data your QA/QI team and medical director can trust, because it was captured in real time, not reconstructed after the fact.

Why it actually matters

For crews, it means one less pass through the chart after a run. For administrators and medical directors, it means a patient care record that reflects what was actually decided and done in the field, not a recollection of it.
