[I saw OneDose] in use on a medical flight.This job is inherently stressful enough. Now that you take the “guess work and mental math” out of the equation, it allows you to focus on direct patient care. No more over or under dosing medications. Delivering precise and therapeutic care to patients with confidence.
We were dispatched to an elementary school for an active pediatric seizure that had already been going on for 21 minutes. Pediatric calls like that are incredibly stressful, and medication dosing is always one of the biggest pressure points.
Before we even arrived, we used OneDose to look everything up and confirm our medication dosing. When we got on scene, there was no hesitation, no second-guessing calculations, and no scrambling under pressure. We confirmed the patient age and corresponding dosing, administered the medication within a minute of arrival, and the seizure stopped.
Seeing the difference was incredible. OneDose took away one of the biggest stressors on a high-acuity pediatric call and let us focus entirely on the patient. The confidence it gave us in that moment directly impacted the outcome.
I’m incredibly grateful for what this tool does in the real world. Pediatric calls will always be stressful — but this made it feel completely different than what it used to be.
